Lovely fireplace made up and ready to go when you arrive, comfy beds and plenty of local wildlife to entertain you make it hard to motivate yourself to get up and go out. But if you must go out the cottage is in a great location to visit Girraween, so many wineries, Storm King Dam as well as the shops and cafes in Ballandean or Stanthorpe. "

"Such a beautiful little cottage in the perfect location to explore nearby Girraween, wineries and nature. Very comfy beds, clean, and had everything you needed. It's only about 5 minutes' walk down the road from Ballandean. The Ballandean Pub had a pretty satisfying dinner too !! If you are a hiker, you have to do the Pyramids at sunset - unforgettable experience. "

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at Blue Wren Cottage. The cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I, and my son and his partner. Excellent separation with an ensuite off each bedroom. The location is very serene, a vineyard across the road and wallabies in the hills behind. Fantastic location close to wineries and Girraween NP. Just a short stroll down the road to The Church Local Wine Project was a fun experience! Our wine bus tour picked us up at the gate and we can't wait to get some more couples together and come back to stay in the Barn! Definitely recommend.

I have stayed at the cottage twice and found it to be of a very high standard, they have thought of everything and the surroundings are so beautiful. I would recommend Kurrajong Barn and Cottages to anyone looking to stay on the Granite Belt region
