"Such a beautiful little cottage in the perfect location to explore nearby Girraween. Very comfy bed, clean, and had everything you needed. It's only about 10 minutes walk down the road from the park, so you are able to grab a coffee in the morning from St Judes and then head out for the day. The tavern had a pretty satisfying dinner too !! If you are a hiker, you have to do the Pyramids at sunset - unforgettable experience. "

“Loved the Cottage. We stayed in the cottage and it’s exactly what we wanted which was to be quiet and close to a place to eat which is the tavern. We also could walk to the small corner shop. Both of these places are great to have close by after a big day of wine tasting. It was also great to look out and see wildlife and have an open fireplace.”

“Beautiful Country Cottage. We stayed in Blue Wren Cottage over Easter and had a great time. Its rustic, cute, cosy and very comfortable for a couple (or 2 couples) and has everything you could possibly need. It is within walking distance of the Ballandean tavern which serves decent pub grub and the cottage is the perfect place to come home to later on.”

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at Blue Wren Cottage. The cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I, and my son and his partner. Excellent separation with an ensuite off each bedroom. The location is very serene, a vineyard across the road and wallabies in the hills behind. Fantastic location close to wineries and Girraween NP. Just a short stroll down the hill to ST Judes Bistro which does an amazing breakfast, with quality Fonzie Abbot beach for those aficionados. Our wine bus tour picked us up at the gate and we can't wait to get some more couples together and come back to stay in the Barn! Definitely recommend.
